SPEEDROT is a silly, fast browser game made of five-second challenges. Here is what your teen does in it and how we keep it safe.

Made for 13 and up
SPEEDROT is designed for players aged 13 and over. Creating an account requires confirming an age of 13 or older, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Anyone can play as a guest without giving us anything.
No chat, no private messages
Players cannot talk to each other. There is no chat, no direct messages and no friend lists. Other players see only a handle, a brain skin, scores, and the games a player chooses to post.
Content is filtered, twice
Players can make games from a sentence. Every sentence is checked before our AI sees it, and every game is checked again afterwards: titles, captions and emoji. Handles are filtered too. Games posted to the community feed are re-checked by our server, anyone can report a game, and three reports hide it.
Nothing to buy
SPEEDROT has no purchases, no loot boxes, no paid random rewards and no ads. All rewards are cosmetic and earned only by playing.
Healthy by design
Every game lasts about five seconds and every run ends. There are no energy timers and no pay-to-continue walls. Daily streaks and quests are optional bonuses, not punishments.
Privacy
Guest progress is stored on the device. A free account stores an email address and a handle so progress can be kept across devices. We do not sell personal information and we do not use advertising trackers. Our privacy policy has the details.
Settings that help
In the Me tab you can turn off sounds, vibration and the announcer, lower visual effects and reduce motion.
