Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and SPEEDROT (“we”, “us”) for using the SPEEDROT game and website at speedrot.com (the “Service”). By playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Handles must be clean and must not impersonate anyone. You can delete your account at any time.

Games you make and post

You keep the ideas you type. When you post a game or share a link, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, show, adapt and share that game in the Service, including letting other players play and remix it. Do not post anything unlawful, hateful, sexual, violent toward real people, or that uses someone else's characters, brands or likeness. We may remove any game and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Fair play

Do not cheat, use bots or scripts to play or submit scores, tamper with the Service, overload it, or get around rate limits or filters. We check scores and may remove results and accounts that break these rules.

ROT AI

ROT AI generates games and text automatically. Its output can be imperfect; we filter and test it, but we do not guarantee it. Do not use ROT AI to try to produce harmful content.

Free, as is

The Service is free and provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause or end any part of it at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for loss of game progress, and our total liability is limited to 50 US dollars.

Ending

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
